01. PEEK monofilament (fiber)
As we all know, PEEK is a variety of polyaryletherketone polymers with excellent performance and is a thermoplastic polymer with good comprehensive performance today. PEEK products are very rich in variety, mainly including injection molded finished parts, continuous extrusion plate/rod profiles, films, capillaries and other products.
Junhua PEEK has developed JUNHUAPEEK monofilaments (fibers) of certain sizes according to customer needs. JUNHUAPEEK filaments have excellent insulation properties, outstanding strength, and excellent heat and chemical resistance.
02. PEEK monofilament (fiber) production process
PEEK filaments have a normal operating temperature of 260°C, are inherently resistant to hydrolysis, and can be cleaned in high-temperature steam.
PEEK filaments are extruded from PEEK 5602G customized special raw materials, breaking the length limitations of traditional processes. They have various diameters, are corrosion-resistant, high-temperature resistant, have a certain degree of flexibility, and are easy to bend during the connection process.
03. PEEK monofilament (fiber) performance
JUNHUAPEEK (polyetheretherketone) monofilament (fiber) has excellent performance. Tensile strength is 600-700MPa (single filament breaking strength is about 50 cN/tex), elongation is 40%, melting point is 340℃, and gram weight is 430 g/10000 m (φ0.2 mm).

05. Application fields of PEEK monofilament (fiber)
JUNHUAPEEK monofilament (fiber) has the characteristics of steam resistance, wear resistance, creep resistance, good toughness and good biocompatibility. It is widely used in drying canvas for papermaking machinery, heat-resistant filter cloth, racket mesh, composite materials (mixed or mixed with CF, GF, etc.), fuel filter, artificial ligament, high-temperature insulation sheath on aircraft, etc.
