Congratulations to Jiangsu Junhua HPP Co., Ltd. (Junhua HPP) for being successfully selected into the 2026 Changzhou, China Green Factory List.
Recently, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Changzhou, China published the list of 2026 Changzhou, China Green Factories. Thanks to its systematic green manufacturing system and remarkable energy-saving and emission reduction achievements, Junhua HPP has been included, setting a new benchmark for green transformation in the special polymer materials industry.
A green factory refers to a manufacturing site featuring intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, recycled waste and low-carbon energy. It serves as the core component of the green manufacturing system. To put it simply, while ensuring product performance, quality and production safety, green factories embed environmental protection into all links covering product design, production and full life cycle, so as to save energy, cut carbon emissions and minimize environmental impacts.

Official Announcement Background
In accordance with the Notice on the 2026 Changzhou, China Green Factory Application Work (Document No. Gongxin Jieneng〔2026〕12), after enterprise application, preliminary review by district-level industrial and information authorities, and expert evaluation organized by the municipal bureau, the proposed list of 2026 Changzhou, China Green Factories was published for public review from June 30 to July 6, 2026.
Issued by: The Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Changzhou, China Date: June 30, 2026
Junhua HPP ranks No.68 on the official 2026 Changzhou, China Green Factory List.
I. Built-in Green Advantages Rooted in Core Business: Eco-friendly PEEK Material
As a national key Specialized, Refined, Unique & Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise and the only firm in China with a full industrial chain layout of PEEK (Polyetheretherketone), Junhua HPP boasts inherent advantages for green development.
PEEK is an eco-friendly high-performance polymer with outstanding properties including high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and recyclability. It can replace metal parts in long-term service and drastically cut carbon footprints across the whole product lifecycle. It is a key lightweight and low-carbon material widely applied in aerospace, new energy vehicles, medical devices and other high-end sectors.
II. Eight Green Initiatives to Build a Comprehensive Green Manufacturing System
Being recognized as a Green Factory of Changzhou, China is a testament to Junhua HPP’s long-term commitment to green manufacturing. The company has carried out a full set of effective green upgrades covering energy, resources, environment and production:
- Full LED Lighting Renovation 100% of lighting fixtures across the plant are high-efficiency LED lamps, delivering remarkable power saving compared with traditional lighting solutions.
- Rooftop PV System for Clean Power Supply The rooftop photovoltaic system reaches a total installed capacity of 1.6MWp. From May to December 2025, self-generated PV power consumption hit 1.2 million kWh, cutting carbon dioxide emissions by around 939 tons. The system reduces reliance on fossil fuels and optimizes the energy mix with renewable power.
- Clean Production Upgrades for Better Workshop Environment Key production lines including injection molding and compression molding have been fully upgraded with enclosed production systems, which drastically lower dust and VOCs emissions, improve air quality and create healthier working conditions for staff.
- Closed-loop Recycling of Production Offcuts A scrap recycling project is implemented: production offcuts are crushed and reused as regrind materials for production, achieving a closed-loop recycling of production waste. This circular economy model lowers raw material consumption and reduces solid waste output.
- Over 90% Circulation Rate of Cooling Water Cooling water systems are technologically renovated to achieve a water circulation rate above 90%, sharply cutting fresh water intake and boosting water resource efficiency.
- Energy Saving via High-efficiency Equipment & Variable Frequency Technology Variable frequency drives are widely adopted to adjust power output on demand and avoid idle energy waste. Meanwhile, imported high-efficiency extruders are introduced to raise output while lowering energy consumption per unit product, realizing capacity expansion without extra energy costs.
- Green Chemical Replacement to Cut Pollution at Source Water-based cleaning agents fully replace previous oil-based cleaners, slashing VOCs emissions from the source. The move improves working conditions and mitigates environmental risks through source control.
- Intelligent Digital Management for Precise Energy Control The intelligent new factory, put into operation in April 2026, integrates digital and smart technologies to enable real-time monitoring and refined management of energy consumption, offering strong technical support for green manufacturing.

III. Green Factory Certification: A Strategic Booster for All-round Enterprise Development
The Green Factory title is far more than an honor; it acts as a core strategic pillar driving comprehensive business growth.
- Boost Market Competitiveness Green factory qualification has become a mandatory threshold or major scoring bonus in tenders of state-owned enterprises, listed companies and multinationals, serving as a core evaluation indicator for green supply chains. With this official certification, Junhua HPP can smoothly enter high-quality supplier systems and expand market reach. Industry cases show that relevant manufacturers achieved a 40% order surge after obtaining green factory accreditation.
- Environmental Compliance Safeguard Certified green factories are included on the positive supervision list of environmental authorities, with drastically reduced on-site inspection frequency. This lowers compliance costs and ensures stable, uninterrupted production.
- Enhanced Brand Value As an officially recognized green benchmark, the certification strengthens brand credibility and industry reputation. It helps attract top talents internally and builds a responsible corporate image externally, forms powerful intangible brand assets.
- Long-term Strategic Edge Amid Global Low-carbon Trends Against the backdrop of rising global green trade barriers, green factory certification helps the company cope with international rules such as carbon tariffs. It aligns with China’s Dual Carbon Goals, allowing the enterprise to prepare in advance for upcoming carbon trading and carbon tax policies, securing a competitive edge in the new round of industrial transformation.
IV. Continuous Green Upgrade to Pursue Higher-level Green Certifications
Taking the Green Factory certification of Changzhou, China as a new starting point, Junhua HPP will further optimize its green manufacturing system, elevate energy and resource utilization efficiency, and actively apply for provincial and national green factory certifications. Driven by low-carbon green transformation, the company will advance high-quality development and contribute to Changzhou, China’s goal of building a demonstration city for green manufacturing transformation in the Yangtze River Delta.
