In the midsummer season, when everything is thriving and full of vitality, the Junhua Shares “Children’s Hearts Explore Junhua, Growing Together in Summer” Employee Children’s Summer Open Day warmly opened on August 22.
A group of lively and cute little guests—the children of our employees—walked into the place where their parents work with curiosity and expectation, embarking on a joyful journey from morning till dusk. Exciting robot shows, wonderful laboratory explorations, fun knowledge classrooms, energetic outdoor challenge games, colorful talent shows, and heartwarming gratitude messages…
A full day of careful preparation packed “happiness” into every child’s small passport and left “warmth” in the heart of every family.
Setting Sail Safely & Gathering Joyfully
At 8:00 AM, the lobby of the Comprehensive Building was already filled with laughter. Accompanied by their parents, the children arrived one after another, checking in, receiving souvenir gifts, and putting on name tags—all in an orderly manner.
With the click of the camera shutter, a grand group photo packed with smiles captured the best beginning of this summer date.
- Activity Speech: After checking in, the children and parents moved together to Auditorium 103. Manager Zhu from the Human Resources & Administration Department delivered an opening speech, sending warm welcomes and blessings to every child.
- Safety Education: Afterwards, a vivid safety education lesson kicked off—”Safety First” was the premise of all today’s joy. The children listened attentively and actively answered questions, firmly remembering key points of self-protection amidst laughter. Each child also received a dedicated “Little Passport” to record their points and memories throughout the day.
Journey of Exploration & Wisdom Blooming
During the tour and experience segment, the children were divided into two groups to visit the company display hall and laboratories under the guidance of the staff.
- Exhibition Hall & Laboratories: In the display hall, Mr. Ma, head of the Aerospace, Nuclear Power & Military Industry Department, systematically explained the company’s development history, core products, and application fields. The exciting robot performance fully stimulated the children’s curiosity, leaving a deep impression of technology’s unique charm. In the laboratory, Dr. Liu, Deputy R&D Director, led the kids to explore the wonderful world of polymer materials and explained the principles of 3D printing in simple terms, helping them intuitively understand their parents’ work. The two groups swapped venues afterwards to ensure every child experienced Junhua’s technological prowess.
- Knowledge Quiz: Upon returning, a pop quiz ignited the room’s enthusiasm. Attentive ears and active minds turned raised hands into the day’s most touching sight. The following English mini-class engaged kids in fun learning, earning them shiny reward points for brave participation.
Energy Refuel & Warm Moments
At noon, the company prepared nutritionally balanced meals for the children. Guided by staff, the children dined orderly, practiced the “Clean Your Plate” action, and proactively sorted their trash after meals, demonstrating great habits.
During the noon break, the highly anticipated “Parent’s Workstation Visit” took place. Children walked into their parents’ offices, seeing where they fight their daily battles, touching their keyboards, and sitting in their chairs. At this moment, work was no longer an abstract concept, but hands-on dedication supporting their homes.
Outdoor Challenges & Full Energy
In the afternoon under bright sunshine, the main road at the entrance turned into a joyful arena featuring Five Major Challenges:
- Three-Legged Race: Testing tacit cooperation.
- Rope Skipping Challenge: Competing in foot speed.
- Hands & Feet Coordination: Testing agility and reaction time.
- Obstacle Dribbling: Demonstrating patience and care.
- Ball Clamping Relay: Highlighting teamwork.
Running figures under the sun formed the most vivid picture of the day.
Crafting, Patience & Shining Talents
After returning for tea break and rest, a jigsaw puzzle competition tested the children’s patience and concentration through group collaboration.
The talent show pushed the afternoon atmosphere to its climax. Children enthusiastically took the stage to showcase their skills—soothing Guzheng melodies, graceful dances, expressive poetry recitations, and crisp singing. Staff awarded points to every brave participant, encouraging them to keep shining on their future growth paths.
Passing Down Gratitude & Honoring Achievement
As the event drew to a close, a heartwarming gratitude segment unfolded. Children wrote or drew their thoughts, words for their parents, and childhood dreams. Parents also wrote messages for their children. Exchanging these heartfelt notes let love flow warmly between them.
At the end of the event, Mr. Su and Mr. Liu delivered closing remarks, wishing the children well and presenting each with a “Little Junhua Person” award certificate.
The points exchange brought joy to the peak as children counted their hard-earned points to redeem favorite gifts. Holding gifts and hands with their parents, the summer open day concluded in laughter under the sunset. The children gained not only points and gifts, but a true understanding of their parents’ workplace, vivid experiences in science and teamwork, and genuine gratitude for family.
