On August 6, 2026, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology in China announced the proposed list of technologies and products for recognition under Jiangsu Province’s 2026 “Three Firsts and Two News” program. JUNHUA’s “Medical Implant-Grade Continuous Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polyether Ether Ketone Composite Material” was recognized as a new technology and new product.
As a core biomaterial for high-end orthopedic implants, this continuous CF/PEEK product offers outstanding mechanical properties and excellent biocompatibility. It can address key challenges associated with metal implants, including stress shielding and MRI artifacts, and is applicable to implantable devices for spinal, trauma, and craniomaxillofacial reconstruction.
This provincial-level recognition will accelerate the industrialization and clinical promotion of the company’s high-end medical composite materials and advance the replacement of imported medical PEEK materials.
